• Handle member/non-member consumer lending requests/questions
• Process all consumer loan types and applications
• Prepare closing documentation and close consumer loans
• Maintain accurate documentation necessary for all consumer loan types
• Ensure monthly consumer loan reports are completed
• Assist members with all consumer loan requests and concerns (servicing and originations)
• Assist other employees with consumer loan information as necessary
• Recommend changes to lending procedures to management to ensure an efficient, well-organized operation is maintained
• Must have a good understanding of lending terms/definitions and the ability to apply them to various consumer loan scenarios
• Keep all member and credit union business strictly confidential
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Provides members with good service through prompt decisions on loan applications
• Recommends additional products for appropriate loan applications
• Provides outstanding service to our members
• Provides outstanding service and support to MSR’s.

Experience -

• At least two years prior work experience within a credit union or financial institution preferred
• At least one to two years consumer underwriting experience required
• Experience in loan interviewing required

Education -

• High School diploma or equivalent
