As a successful Retail Operations Manager you will:

  • Coordinate with the VP of Retail Sales on operational strategies
  • Oversee overall performance of designated branches in sales, operations, and profitability
  • Participate in the implementation of strategic and department goals
  • Participate on implementation teams for operational initiatives
  • Conduct and provide support to branches for daily operational activities
  • Maintain a strong retail sales compliance program to include completing branch audits, ensuring account and loan documentation accuracy, creating and maintaining procedures that ensure board policy and regulations compliance
  • Monitor returned checks, fraud, teller over/short records and similar activities


  • College coursework required, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial institution experience with at least 2 years of branch management experience
  • Ability to recognize gaps in operations and develop strategies to correct or improve
  • Experience reading branch profitability reports and designing strategies for growth
  • A proven track record of successful sales performance of a team
  • Strong management and organizational skills
  • A proven track record of goal attainment
  • Ability to develop and analyze reports and make quality decisions from analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential

Work Environment:

  • Regular travel to branches
  • May require frequent overtime
