As the Creative Specialist, you will assist the VP of Marketing in accomplishing the overall credit union goals by developing and executing creative designs and strategies.

Creative development – Responsible for the creative development of all marketing and advertising for a broad range of mediums, including direct mail, digital/web, social media, posters, print and more. This role oversees all elements of the creative process, including conception, copywriting, graphic design, proofing, editing, print production and vendor coordination.
Branding – Responsible for maintaining and evolving the Neighbors Credit Union brand. Must grow and develop existing brand standards, while maintaining brand identity and integrity.
Photo Compliance and Ad Retention – This position will be responsible for the image database and copywrite law. In addition, this position will maintain and update our document and ad retention efforts in respect to compliance requirements.
Additional duties – Complete award entries. Organize samples. Respectfully help staff and members. Assist the marketing department when or where needed to support promotions, events and the credit union in general. Assist the credit union with all design efforts needed. Work with outside agencies and printers as needed. Must stay well-informed to all financial and advertising regulations.
A Bachelors Degree in fine art design, marketing, communications, or similar from an accredited college or university. Or a minimum of three years related work experience.
Individual must have extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Must understand digital file formats (tif, gif, jpeg, png, eps, pdf, etc.). Must have the ability to navigate across multiple mediums. Must have an adaptive design eye and skill. Must exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must present a professional appearance and manner. Must possess a positive attitude and be highly personable. Must be able to work successfully independently and in a team environment. Must have strong organizational and planning skills. Must be creative and detail oriented. Must be able to manage priorities and balance diverse projects.
