Neighbors Credit Union is seeking a Branch Manager for our St. Peters branch.

At Neighbors Credit Union, you will lead a sales and service team that always puts people before profits.

Responsibilities

  • Coaches MSRs and tellers to determine members’ financial needs and offer appropriate credit union products or services that will provide financial solutions. Sets an example for and performs as an MSR or teller so that optimum member service may be maintained.
  • Ensures MSRs and tellers are providing member assistance to problems or questions to ensure member satisfaction.
  • Schedules, trains, coaches, supervises, disciplines, delegates duties and directs department personnel. Promotes positive attitudes, teamwork, professionalism, accuracy, efficiency, and desire to offer credit union services in employees.
  • Provides member assistance to problems to ensure member satisfaction.
  • Ensures MSRs and tellers accurately complete documentation to provide a clear audit trail. Regularly audit branch activity, and monitor branch security.
  • Community involvement and generation of new business from surrounding fields of membership.

 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience in the lending or member service area of a credit union or other financial institution preferred.
  • College degree (preferably business or related major) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of managerial techniques, operations, procedures, principles of lending and collections, marketing and the credit union philosophy.
  • Ability to make decisions and supervise subordinates effectively.
  • Ability to communicate well with subordinates, associates and members.
  • Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. This work involves personal contact with others inside and outside the organization.

Total compensation includes competitive base pay, annual incentive, medical, dental, 401(k) with matching contributions, vacation time, sick time and personal time, paid holidays and life insurance.
