Responsibilities

  • From a remote location, serves members in drive-ups and lobbies through an interactive teller system. Processes all member financial transactions.
  • Assists members with use of Interactive Teller Machines, providing education on their use and ensuring an elevated comfort level.
  • Maintains general knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and processes. Provides service to members by offering solutions to questions, problems, and needs.
  • Uses enhanced technology versus traditional processes to review and accept checks, identification documents and other documents needed to make appropriate decisions and complete transactions and member requests.
  • Assists and educates members on general use of electronic service delivery channels offered through online banking and their personal devices.
  • Makes decisions within guidelines. Consults with Agent II or supervisor for escalated problems requiring advanced solutions.
  • Performs daily sales activities in order to provide excellent member service and contribute to the sales goals set for the team. Strives to meet individual sales goals.
  • Performs end-of-day balancing and completes closing procedures.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of all member and credit union business.

Qualifications

  • Possesses exceptional personal and communication skills. Able to connect easily with members through video interactions. Ensures members receive personal service tailored to their needs.
  • Possesses exceptional decision making skills. Actively works toward obtaining knowledge needed to work independently and make appropriate decisions.
  • Comfortable using technology. Actively works toward obtaining basic knowledge on Credit Union electronic service delivery channels including ITMs, ATMs, mobile devices, and service offerings through Online Banking including Bill Pay, transfer options, budgeting tools, online account opening, etc.
  • Demonstrates strong sales skills.
  • Stays current on all products and service offerings. Maintains elevated skill level. Completes required or assigned training. 

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or call center with responsibility for problem resolution.
  • Proven experience in technology usage. Uses online tools for personal banking. Uses electronical delivery channels at FI as well as other merchant/service offerings.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be available to work daytime and/or week nights and occasional Saturdays until 7:00pm.
  • Salary range $12.47 - $15.58
